Amazing. Got the yucca fries, the second steak on the menu, and the special - octopus! It was so amazing and came charred in this creamy white sweet potato sauce. I’ve never had anything like it! This is the place to be in Louisville. Worth our trip down from Columbus Indiana for sure! The server was friendly and helpful too. We came at 6 on a Saturday, and waited around 45 min for a seat, at first they were gonna put us at a little table right next to the live music which was very loud and just not what we were going for, but when we asked they graciously moved us to an outdoor table at the front. Perfect view to see all the people coming in and out.

However, the chef has to pay close attention to flavor detail in some plates as some dishes were unacceptably salty (also, there some 1-2 stars reviews are highlighting the same issue: some salty plates). The service was equally impressive — attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about both the menu and the history behind it. It's clear the staff takes great pride in sharing their culture and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Wow what an experience, my family comes from Cuba and this place is amazing and very authentic! The shredded pork was so delicious and the dessert was an experience of its own. We brought a large group and service was quick and polite. Love the vibe with live music and colorful atmosphere. If I'm ever back in Louisville I will make it a point to come back. 10/10 🇨🇺

This place has great charm and real classic Cuban character. Very beautiful! Food was pleasant, but not the greatest. It definitely felt like it was created for mass appeal instead of traditional flavors! Overall I had an enjoyable experience, I just expected more traditional flavors.
